Sakineh is a young talented poet staying at Children’s house of Zanjireh Omid charity institute at the moment. She is the last child of the family and has a passion for Persian literature. She was diagnosed to have scoliosis when she was only 13 years old. Scoliosis is a medical condition in which a person's spine has a sideways curve. She has undergone 4 surgeries under the support of the charity since last two years and is now recovering from her last surgery. She is also using physiotherapy and occupational therapy services as complimentary treatment at the charity. Zanjireh Omid is covering Sakineh's treatment costs since her family lives on a tight budget and receives government subsidies for living costs .The charity has ordered orthopedic shoes for her as her physical condition is improving. It’s hoped that she returns home soon after finishing her occupational and physiotherapy sessions
