According to the public relations of Zanjireh Omid International Charity, this event was held in the presence of Mr. Ladislav Balek, the honorable Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Iran, his wife and members of the Embassy, Ms.Maryam Marashi, Managing Director of Zanjireh Omid, and members and staff of the Zanjireh Omid.
At the event, after the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the parties, the Slovak Republic Embassy donated tens of thousands of Euros to Zanjireh Omid on behalf of the Slovak Republic for the treatment of refugee children. The embassy visited the Children’s House of Zanjireh Omid, orthopedic, hydrotherapy and other wards, during which the sick children at the Children’s House gave flowers to the Honorable ambassador's wife.
Prior to this event, Maryam Marashi, Director General of Zanjireh Omid International Charity, gave a detailed presentation on the performance and introduction of Zanjireh Omid during a meeting to Mr. Ladislav Balek, the Honorable Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Iran and after this meeting, it was decided this cooperation would be better to continue in the future.
In this ceremony, Maryam Marashi, the General Director and Founder of Zanjireh Omid, while appreciating the valuable and sincere efforts of The Honorable Ambassador of the Slovak Republic, expressed her appreciation and gratitude for the support of the Government of the Slovak Republic.
Zanjireh Omid International Charity has been performing since July 2007 and provides its medical services to children under the age of 18 at the lowest cost paid by sponsors, regardless of religion, race or nationality, and in accordance with international standards, in three subspecialty fields: Cardiac, Orthopedics and Reconstructive. Since its Foundation, more than 14,000 children from all over the country have undergone specialized surgery and treatment by this institute, and it is currently constructing the largest sub-specialized pediatric hospital in all fields of treatment in the country.
It should be noted that the purpose of treatment in Zanjireh Omid is children under 18 years of age and these children have no role in determining their own life. In accordance with the principle of a United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted in 1959, Zanjireh Omid Institute treats these children to eliminate discrimination at birth. Because the lack of timely and quality treatment physical problems and disabilities will be caused for these children.
