Structural Activities
The Zanjireh Omid international charity foundation, in addition to providing specialized medical and surgical services to sick children, has also worked towards achieving specialized standards in pediatric medicine, both structurally and in developing the country’s medical infrastructure.
Some of its activities include: initiating the construction of a specialized children’s hospital, carrying out a project to renovate and equip a pediatric heart clinic, establishing and equipping a pediatric treatment residence with a special rehabilitation center, implementing a project to build and equip an open-heart NICU, equipping the hospital operating room, efforts to address the challenges of treating sick refugee children, and more.
Goals of structural activities
- Equipping hospitals and treatment centers with advanced equipment
- Establishing specialized sections for the treatment of childhood diseases
- Creating special treatment conditions for children across the country who are deprived of these services
- Expanding hospital beds for children
- Upgrading and expanding pediatric specialty medicine in the country

These projects have increased access to quality specialized medical and surgical services for children who were previously deprived of them.
