Visit of UNHCR Representative to Zanjireh Omid Institute

The representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees visited Zanjireh Omid's center and had a meeting with the managing director of the institute concerning Refugees' challenges in Iran.
Mr. Freijsen expressed his thanks for the efforts of the institute in delivering medical care to refugee children in his meeting with Mrs. Marashi.
The meeting was also attended by the head of international affairs of Iran's Bureau for Aliens and Foreign Immigrants Affairs. The three parties discussed potential trilateral cooperation with regard to medical treatment of refugee children.
Zanjireh Omid International Charity Institute has offered medical care and surgical services to over 3000 refugee children with orthopedic, cardiac and reconstructive problems since its establishment.
