Golsoom is a 13-year-old girl whose life took a difficult turn after a tragic accident. In this heartbreaking incident, her mother became paralyzed, her father was left unable to work, and she herself suffered severe injuries to both legs.

Today, Golsoom can only walk with great difficulty using a walker. She has been under the support of the Zanjireh Omid Charity since Mordad (July–August) of this year, and the first surgery on one of her legs was successfully performed. However, to be able to walk again without a walker, she needs surgery on her other leg and several rounds of physical therapy.

The cost of this surgery and specialized treatments is estimated at around 160 million tomans—a sum beyond her family’s means.

And yet Golsoom still remains hopeful. Despite all her hardships, she smiles and keeps the dream of walking again alive in her heart. Let us stand by her side and help her so she can once again stand on her own feet and walk confidently.
