"Ladislav Ballek," the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic and his accompanying delegation, held discussions with Maryam Marashi, the CEO of Zanjireh Omid International Charity, and bilateral cooperation was reviewed during their visit to the charity institute.
According to Zanjireh Omid's public relations, in this ceremony, Ladislav Ballek, the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic, and his accompanying delegation, including embassy officials, presented gifts to the children residing in Zanjireh Omid's Mother's Residence. They became familiar with the children's accommodation in the residence and the provision of sub-specialized services in rehabilitation fields, including orthopedics, physical and mental therapy, speech therapy, and hydrotherapy.
In this ceremony, Maryam Marashi, the CEO of Zanjireh Omid, explained the conditions of pediatric subspecialty medicine in Iran and the services provided by Zanjireh Omid to children. She said: "Zanjireh Omid's subspecialty services in the fields of cardiology, orthopedics, and reconstructive surgery are offered to all children under the age of 18, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or nationality. The presence of immigrant children in the residence and the high statistics of recoveries in this center are evidence of this claim.
She emphasized that Zanjireh Omid, in line with the ethical and humanitarian duty it has defined for itself, provides the best services to children with the highest global standards. She said, "Zanjireh Omid's actions are also in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (adopted in 1959), and we are committed to the principle of eliminating discrimination based on the birthplace of children.
Maryam Marashi further continued: In addition to treating children, Zanjireh Omid also includes sub-specialized medical training for physicians and healthcare personnel as part of its objectives, and it is possible that there may be mutual collaborations with the healthcare sector of the Slovak Republic.
She also emphasized that Zanjireh Omid is making efforts to add a new chapter to its existing services and provide sub-specialized services to children in the field of neurology.
Ladislav Ballek, the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic, also mentioned in this meeting that Zanjireh Omid is an outstanding charity providing sub-specialized services to children. He said, "We hope that you will continue to provide your services professionally, just as you have done in the past.
He emphasized: "Children are the assets of the earth, and our support is for all children in need of services."
In this ceremony, after the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Slovak Embassy for pediatric sub-specialty surgery and treatment, an agreement was reached and signed between the two parties, the Ambassador and the CEO of the institute.
Zanjireh Omid International Charity has been in operation since Tir 1386 (approximately May 2007). It provides medical services to children under the age of 18, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or nationality, in the fields of cardiology, orthopedics, and reconstructive surgery, all at the lowest cost covered by financial supporters, following international standards. From the beginning of its operations until now, over 15,400 children from all over the country have undergone pediatric subspecialty surgery and received treatment through this institute.
